Our Policies

Shorelines Gallery strives to present, on this web site, artwork with the most current and correct specifications and pricing.  Depending on the monitor on which artwork is being viewed, images may vary in size and color. Item dimensions, as stated, are approximate.  Most of our artwork is handmade.  There may be small inclusions or bubbles as is common in hand blown glass or handcrafted art of any kind.  These do not detract from the beauty or value of the piece.  The image shown on our web site is of the actual item you receive.  For several of our jewelry artists items, where pieces may be recreated, we show samples of the series.

To reflect an art market that is in a constant state of flux, Shorelines Gallery issues regular updates to these web pages and reserves the right to correct and update any and all information at the gallery's discretion.  Prices and availability of jewelry and artwork are subject to change without notice, and can change overnight, potentially rendering an art piece no longer available at the time of ordering.  Questions or comments are always welcome.  Please contact the gallery at info@shorelines-gallery.com or call 1-888-598-5009.  Thank you!

Ordering

All payments are processed through a secure server.  Our shopping cart is with Mal's e-commerce.  After placing your order you will receive an order confirmation receipt sent to your e-mail address.

If you do not feel comfortable ordering from us online, we are available to take your order via phone at 888-598-5009 (during our business hours) or fax to 360-598-6008.  Please use this form when faxing an order.  If you reach a recording, please leave a message with your contact information, preferred method of contact and we will return your message as soon as possible.  For faxed orders, please let us know your preferred method of contact for order confirmation.

Returns and Exchanges

  • A Return Authorization (RA) number is required for all returns and may be obtained by calling Shorelines Gallery at 1-888-598-5009 or 360-598-5009.

  • Returns for refund may be made by requesting a Return Authorization (RA) number within 10 days of receipt of shipment.  The item must be shipped back to Shorelines Gallery within 3 days of receiving the RA number.  A 10% restocking fee will be charged on all returns for refund.  This fee is to cover the credit card fees that we incur.   Refunds are only available to the original purchaser of an item. 

  • Merchandise returned without an RA number will be refused.  Be sure to mark the RA number on the shipping label of your package.

  • Returns for store credit or exchange may be made within 30 days of invoice date.  We ask you not to abuse this policy, however in case a piece does not work in your display or with your wardrobe the way you thought it would, we extend this offer to help you to feel comfortable ordering art online.

  • All returns must be in original condition.  We recommend shipping via insured carrier.  If you mail a return via the Postal Service withou Priority or Express service we cannot assist with any claims for lost shipments and any damaged boxes will be refused.

  • Shipping and handling will not be refunded.  Customer is responsible for all return shipment costs.

  • Shorelines Gallery is not responsible for any return that is lost or stolen in route to our gallery.

  • Special Order items are not returnable.

Sales Tax

  • All out of WA state shipments will not be charged sales tax.

  • For all WA state residents, effective July 1, 2008 Washington Department of Revenue requires we now charge sales tax based on shipping destination zip code.  Currently, our shopping cart does not support destination based tax calculations.  We are looking into ways to accommodate this so that we can show you an accurate total in your check out process.  Until then, the shopping cart will calculate tax at 8.6% Kitsap County rate.  We will notify you prior to shipping your order of your final total based on your destination sales tax, which may be higher or lower than our local rate.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Shipping Information

  • We ship USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise requested. Washington state shipments will be sent via regular mail if the estimated transit time is the same.

  • For all metal,framed art and some large raku or glass pieces we ship UPS.  The shipping costs for UPS will differ from what is programmed into the shopping cart.  We will contact you for your approval before sending.

  • Due to the vast differences in both size and weight of our products air or ground shipping quotes may vary.  Should the shipping be more than 10% greater than the stated amount, we will contact you for your approval prior to shipping.

  • All of our items are shipped with insurance.

  • Shipments will usually be sent within 24 hours of receipt of your order. We used a 2 to 3 day range for the shopping cart to cover any delays that may occur.

International Orders

  • Any customs, taxes, import duties, or any other applicable charges are your responsibility and are collected once the package reaches your country.  We have no jurisdiction over these expenses and cannot determine what they may be.  Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information.

  • If our regular shipping charges do not cover the cost, we will notify the buyer with a quote prior to shipment. We will not send your product until we receive an approved response in return.

  • International orders, including Canada, may incur a delay of 2 to 5 days before shipping for credit card verification.  We will only ship international orders to the address on file with your credit card issuer.
